Certificates of Merit
The CPF-MB Certificate of Merit serves to appreciate the endeavours of the students. It is a tangible acquisition to student portfolios as it acknowledges the achievements of:
High school graduates with 7 – 13 French Immersion credits, and High school graduates who have continued their French: Communication and Culture studies through Grades 12.
FSL Post-Secondary Bursaries
The new Bursaries for Postsecondary Studies in French as a Second Language Program encourages young, English-speaking Canadians to enhance their bilingualism while studying in a field of interest. A total of 850 non-renewable bursaries, each worth $3,000, will be awarded yearly from 2020 to 2023.

Histoire en direct/ History in Prime Time
Histoire en direct – MB TV – History in Prime Time is a bilingual booklet depicting important historical events that have shaped the Province of Manitoba. Illustrated by local artist Gérald Laroche, this booklet is full of interesting information and is pedagogically valuable to basic French and French Immersion students in Grades 4 to 8.

Supporting Students With Special Education Needs In French As A Second Language
This guide has been developed as a way to help reassure parents that support is available so that all children can be successful in French Second Language (FSL) environment. Parents who do not speak French may wonder how to support their children in their second language acquisition. A positive attitude can be the single most important factor in their success.
French: An Opportunity of a Lifetime
Developed to assist in addressing the need to retain Manitoban students in French courses and the Immersion program. Created in response to the increasing number of students who question why they should continue their students in French. Focuses on providing information to students and parents on post-secondary options, life-enrichment opportunities and career choices that incorporate the French language.
