FSL Postsecondary Bursaries
Pursuing postsecondary studies in French: Pourquoi pas? The new Bursaries for Postsecondary Studies in French as a Second Language Program encourages young, English-speaking Canadians to enhance their bilingualism while studying in a field of interest. A total of 850 non-renewable bursaries, each worth $3,000, will be awarded yearly from 2020 to 2023. We invite you to watch this short video for an overview of the Program. Under the slogan “It’s rewarding to be bilingual!”, the Program highlights the several benefits of pursuing postsecondary studies in French:
- Achieving lifelong bilingualism
- Opportunity to expand knowledge about the Francophone culture
- Better employment opportunities
- Improved wages
